Sidmouth Restaurants

With Lyme Bay Crab to the East and the River Exe Mussles in the Estuaryto the West, Sidmouth restaurants can literally see world class ingredients all around, part of the reason Jonathan and Kate set up their award winning restaurant in this part of Devon.

The Beautiful, historic seaside town of Sidmouth is beautiful all year round. With fantastic, long beaches, picturesque cliff walks and a famous Sea Front, Sidmouth is great for a gateaway. Just a few minutes drive from the M5, Moores' in Newton Poppleford is the ideal base to explore Sidmouth and East Devon.

The Jurassic Coast

England's first natural World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast. The Western end of this 95 mile stretch is accessable within a short drive from Moores' or by bus (the bus stops right by the restaurant).

The Jurassic Coast gained it's status as it gives a walk-through time and is cinsidered to have outstanding universal value.

Sidmouth Folk Festival

The Sidmouth Folk Festival takes over the area for the first week of August. Moores' B&B is ideal for visitors to the Folk Festival, just outside the loud town centre but a regular bus service or short taxi ride means guests don't miss out on any of the action.
