Jonathan says “the secret is to keep changing the menu which keeps both me and our customers interested. There is always a new and exciting ingredient for me to work with ensuring the menu is never the predictable or boring”
The menu follows a very simple formula - a choice of 5 starters, 5 main and 5 desserts including a local cheeseboard.
For the main course customers can choose between either two fish, two meat or a vegetarian dish. At first glance the menu may seem small but guests often struggle to make a decision as tempted by several of the unique dishes. Some just say leave it to the chef!

The increase awareness of food allergies is something that Jonathan takes very seriously. Customers can rest assured if they inform us of their dietary requirements at the time of booking that Jonathan & Kate would have worked through the menu of that day to ensure that there is still choice and to be confident that what is offered is strictly suitable.
Moores’ will always have Coeliac bread available, Goats butter for those allergic to cows dairy and all staff are fully trained on the seriousness of such an allergy.
