It is elegant, but inviting, airy and light during the day. By night a more romantic mood is created with candles and soft lighting. The aim always being to make customers feel special but at home. The tables are laid with great care and detail using the best cutlery and the crispest white linen. Fresh flowers complete the picture.
Continuously ranked on Trip Advisor within the top 10 of all Sidmouth Restaurants, Moores’ Restaurant provide a special experience. Their guests can request use of the private conservatory. Bright and sunny in the summer, cosy and heated in the winter months. This attractive private space seats up to twelve and is an ideal dining location for birthdays, anniversaries or small corporate meetings. Jonathan often meets with the guests beforehand to discuss menus for their function.
Situated outside the conservatory is a pretty walled cottage garden with tables and chairs throughout the summer months. Ideal for lazy lunches or pre-dinner drinks in the late evening sunshine. Jonathan and Kate have been known in the height of summer to serve breakfast outside. Jumpers maybe required when the Sidmouth sea breeze comes through the valley!

From its origins in the early 1900's as the village shop, to simple tea rooms, to a Vegetarian restaurant then finally arriving at Moores’, the family run fine dining restaurant it is today. Jonathan & Kate are celebrating ten years of successful trading and are looking forward to the next ten.
Specialising in locally sourced ingredients the restaurant menu changes on a daily bases offering guests only the freshest fish, best quality reared meat and locally grown farmhouse produce.
